I present exhibit A: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/article ... let-Reaper

While I have never played the original game, it actually looks really fun:

However this new game sucks ass and this is the latest trend in iOS games: Playing the waiting 'game'

It gets better

Dungeon Keeper asks you to rate the game and your options are:
a) 1-4 stars
5) 5 stars

selecting (a) brings you to a feedback form (instead of the store to rate it). 5 stars takes you to the rating page which would potentially allow you to rate it lower than 5, but damn... that is some shady shit.

How is this shit seriously making $50K a day. That's just disgusting. Companies spend thousands of dollars just to make a good game and one guy rips off of a helicopter game and suddenly it's topping the fucking charts. I will never understand the mobile market.

Good for him. I have no problem with "rip-offs", All they do is give the consumer more choices. For a "rip-off" to be successful, it has to be an improvement or be more appealing in some way. This has led to the creation of what we call genres.

Just as long as the originator doesn't get ripped off so badly/early that they aren't rewarded for their contribution, I agree.
